Another Inspiration, or....???
We're not sure about the extent of the "inspiration" on this one, but it seems like it's time for some new approaches to hand-crafted cover typography!
Check on Travis's new blog, Mags and Stuff, for some nice examples of magazine design. The Rolling Stone cover is courtesy of NASCAPAS, our favorite magazine cover website.

maybe the handwritten coverlines are 'inspired' by Esquire but as far as i know is Esquire's typical way of intergrating the coverlines in the backgroud 'inspired' by Rolling Stone mag out of 1996: http://www.coverjunkie.com/blog/rolling-dennis-rodman/3/1847
but i'm curious if this is correct, havent seen it before though
