Your Moment of Type Zen #4
It's much easier to do the photo thing on my bike than in the car, so you'll be seeing more of these NYC posts in the coming weeks. There's an endless supply of typographic eye candy around the city, so it's pretty much a no-brainer. I'm learning that you just have to be careful of curious pedestrians... and people who definitely don't want to be in the picture.I enjoy a good botanica.

These photos are great. Inspiration can come from anywhere. I'd like to see someone put together a typographic tour of New York. Years ago, I took a weekend class at SVA that was an Art Deco tour of the city. The same could be done with type.
Tobias Frere-Jones does a great type tour for AIGA. It sells out really quickly...
