Ever wonder who's using all those Frakturs? The faux-Bavarian town of Leavenworth, Washington, that's who. This past fall, I spent the weekend at an AIGA Seattle retreat in the scenic Cascades, and took a quick tour of the local tourist attraction -- an entire town designed for a permanent Oktoberfest celebration.
