Freelance art director

Looking for an art director for quarterly magazine in the advertising/creativity/design space.

Martha Stewart Living Magazine, Art Department Summer Internship

Martha Stewart Living, Art Department Summer Internship: June 1st- August 7th.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated candidates with great type skills and a strong interest in editorial design. Interns will work with our art directors on layouts, type exploration, mood boards, and will have the opportunity to attend a photo shoot.

Interns will perform a full five day work week from 9:30-6 at our Chelsea Offices in NYC.

Intern Position

Our eager candidate is capable of working remotely as an individual contributor or as a member of a project team. Candidates will be responsible for, designing and building user interfaces.
*Also looking for individuals capable of writing code from specs, participating in software design and documentation.

Heeb Magazine Art Department Summer Internship

Heeb's art intern will work closely with the our creative director and design director to design web content, work with templates, production, as well as more typical intern responsibilities such as errands, and research.

We need a commitment of at least 1 day per week from 11-7.

Photo Intern

Food Network Magazine is looking for a summer intern to work in the photo department a minimum of 3 days a week starting in May. Candidates must be detail oriented, organized, have a strong interest in photography, knowledge of stock photo resources, and a positive attitude. The internship is unpaid and applicants must be able to receive college credit. We are interested in candidates who are studying photography or have experience in magazine publishing.

Candidate must be able and willing to assist the photo department in all administrative duties, send/receive packages by messenger, communicate clearly and confidently with contributors, perform photo research, call-in products for photo shoots and organize photo archives.

Graphic Designer/Powder Magazine

Front to back editorial design of six issues of Powder-The Skier's Magazine.

Searching for a hungry and talented young designer to join a small, dedicated staff in producing magazines aimed to inspire photographically, textually, and creatively.

Production from June thru December. Contractual basis.
