Associate Art Director

• Job Description:
  Women's Health is looking immediately for a superhero talent-level designer who brings enthusiasm, obsessive compulsive attention to detail, brilliant ideas and the pride to take on the ownership of their workload and really polish their pages to a fine shine, month over month. Specifically, you'd be asked to design and assign for a good portion of the FOB, and a couple features and special projects each issue. On-set art direction will be involved. Lust for, and experience with, conceptual type is a must. Must contribute verbally to all attended meetings, communicate effectively with editors, advocate for the photo and art dept needs in negotiations, be amenable and flexible to change and make changes rapidly, must support the senior team, and report to the Creative Director.

• Job Requirements: College Degree 5 to 7 years experience in field InDesign CS2 and above Illustrator, Photoshop Website Design experience a plus but not mandatory Must have worked extensively with assigning to illustrators, some experience on set art directing still life shoots a plus, interest and some experience in new media a huge plus.
