• Job Description:
  This Old House magazine is seeking an Associate Art Director to join our editorial team. The position reports to the Design Director, and is responsible for the design and management of much of the front-of-the-book sections as well as a feature per issue. The qualified candidate should have strong typographic skills, great attention to detail, a familiarity with informational graphics, and the ability to shape a project from conception to completion. This individual excels at working both independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. An interest in home-improvement is a key. Requirements: > Strong foundation in CS4, Illustrator, and Photoshop > 2-3 years professional graphic design experience > Hands-on approach to idea generation > Sophisticated visual sense > Informational graphics skills a plus
