Junior Designer

• Job Description:
  The Hollywood Reporter, based in Los Angeles, is seeking a freelance junior designer immediately. Job duties include: designing department pages in the weekly magazine, designing for the website and ipad and helping with the general maintenance of the art and photo department. The ideal candidate should be hard-working with a great attitude. Occasional late nights can be expected since this is a weekly news-magazine. Candidate should be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. No phone calls please.

• About Our Company: The Reporter has been around for 80 years and has a reputation within the entertainment industry as being the news leader of all things related to film and television. The Hollywood Reporter has just recently undergone a total redesign and relaunch. It is now a weekly large-format magazine with an accompanying weekly ipad app as well as a redesigned website. This is an amazing opportunity for a young designer to be a part of a redesign, to influence and grow along with the publication.
