Information Architecture/User Experience Designer

  • Job Description:
    - Creating the information architecture for Web, mobile, and smart phone/tablet apps 
     - Understanding target audiences' needs, tasks, and goals and translating them into creative concepts and functional components 
     - Strong grasp of the various mobile platforms, native UI components and specifications. 
     - Working closely with business and management to translate business requirements into highly usable and engaging interactive experiences that support the business goals. 
     - Developing and documenting detailed user experience specifications such as flow diagrams and annotated wireframes

  • About Our Company: A division of Clear Channel Radio, this unit is focused on bringing terrestrial radio listeners to our digital properties which include 750+ local radio station websites and the popular iheartradio app, available for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and Windows Phone 7. This position is in the Creative Department which is responsible for making radio visual. The department oversees design, photography and video production for iheartradio from our Tribeca offices.

  • Job Requirements: - 5+ years experience as an information architect, interaction designer, or experience designer (or similar role) - Demonstrated ability to execute web and mobile IA ideas and specs with tight turn-arounds - Advanced proficiency in a variety of design tools including Visio and InDesign, as well as the MS Office Suite - Champion user experience discipline internally within the company - Experience working in scrum environments - Degree in a related field, such as Library Science, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Technical Communications - Experience and basic knowledge in design Comfortable working with tight deadlines and multiple projects
