  • Job Requirements: Responsibilities: -Manage Rodale Interactive design team, including staff and freelance designers -Oversee design work for daily production and projects, including art, photography, information graphics and animations -Collaborate with product development team in setting design and UI standards for new product initiatives -Take projects from inception to completion, with a very strong attention to detail and quality. -Interpret design direction and implement it on the project level. -Liaison to design leads in other Rodale groups responsible for magazine and book design -Hands-on production of art elements for Men's Health and Women's Health sites, both standing site elements and topical images, on web, mobile and social media platforms. -In collaboration with Editors, Producers and Project Leads, produce wire frame designs and design specifications. Ideal candidate will possess: -4+ years experience in an editorial environment with interactive design. -Experience creating designs from wireframes and written specifications. -Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite software. -Intermediate understanding of HTML, CSS and JQuery. -Demonstrated skill in creating designs for the web, mobile and social media platforms. -Solid understanding of the web and browser technologies. -Demonstrates understanding of web usability principals. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Experience designing and managing templates for large scale sites, particularly open source content management systems. -Experience managing design teams throughout a project lifecycle. -Experience managing/leading design teams and enforcing design standards for major web brands
