Design Intern--New York Observer
- Job Description:
The New York Observer is seeking interns for fall and winter 2013. The ideal candidate should be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, with strong skills in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Interest in typography and conceptual imaging skills are a must, as is the ability to conduct art research in a timely manner. Experience in visual journalism and editorial layout are also preferred. Interns will assist the art department with daily research and production responsibilities. Candidates must be organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask in a high-stress, fast-paced work environment. Interns must reside in the greater New York City area and be able to work part time during the academic semester. This internship is unpaid and college credit is required.
