• Job Description:
    The Digital Designer is responsible for conceptualization and design of solutions from concept to completion. Candidate should have strong management skills and understanding of layout, typography and color theory, especially applied to web, and digital media. Position requires internal and external client presentations and constant interaction with other functional departments (e.g. Marketing, Communications and Community Relations). Essential Functions: 1. Design and production of web-specific graphics (e.g. static and animated banners, ads, social media and web page skins). Working closely with staff. 2. Design and production of final mechanicals for Creative Services requests (e.g. logos, collateral print materials, advertising, web banners, multimedia, etc.) 3. Provide support to Creative Services department, especially in art direction, production, file preparation and other pre-production tasks as well as trafficking final files.

  • Job Requirements: Minimum Requirements: 1. Skills/Knowledge: a. Knowledge and understanding of Design concepts and techniques. b. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Adobe Flash. c. Knowledge of HTML 5 or Microsoft Silverlight a plus. d. Ability to supervise print work with illustrators and photographers. e. Project and Deadline management. f. Ability to multi-task by properly dividing time among several projects at one time. 2. Experience/Education: a. Degree in Digital Design, Graphic Design or equivalent. b. 2+ years of experience in web-specific graphics, notably in producing animated Flash and Gif web banners. c. Experience in production and pre-press procedures a plus; preferably in sports or event marketing. d. Experience supervising junior designers and/or production staff a plus. 3. Other: a. Schedule flexibility. b. Manage meetings and presentations. c. Spanish language proficiency a plus. d. General knowledge of sports a plus. e. Team player. 4. Portfolio: a.
