Digital Imaging Specialist and Photo Editor

  • Job Description:
    As a Digital Imaging Specialist, you will oversee the color management and post-production photography work for all editorial imagery on both Inked and Inked Girls publications, ensuring all final images are executed as initially intended and to the company's standard of quality. You will also perform retouching and color management on hi-res images for print and work directly with printers and photographers on any color reproduction issues. Prepress knowledge is a must. As a Photo Editor for INKED GIRLS, you will be conducting photo research to pair models with photographers both nationally and internationally, building new relationships on a global scale. You will produce shoots and work on-set as a Photo Editor, directing photographers, models, hair, makeup, and stylists in order to keep within the publication's aesthetic and guidelines, and maintain budget. You will collaborate with the Creative Director in creating layouts for editorial spreads in Inked Girls Magazine, and prep and upload files to multiple digital platforms such as GooglePlay, Magzter, and Zinio. Hire interns and delegate responsibilities as necessary.
