Graphics Director, National Journal

  • Job Description:
    National Journal is seeking a new Graphics Director to usher our digital and print publications into a new era of innovation and excellence. The Graphics Director will be a team leader, a visionary, and a person who makes things happen - from setting the vision for National Journal's graphic department to working closely with web developers to create a new graphics infrastructure to executing beautiful, informative graphics for National Journal's best journalism. The strongest candidates will have both artistic abilities and technical knowledge - experience with both information graphics for print and digital and interactive graphics online. The strongest candidates will be at ease with Microsoft Excel and Data analysis, Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator), HTML, CSS, Javascript/Query and D3. Familiarity with LESS is also desirable. Core Attributes: - Atlantic Media recruits for two personal attributes in its candidates.
