    FUSION's Brand Publishing and Marketing Services team is looking for a dynamic student or recent grad to join our growing team! The Creative Design Fellow will work across the team to assist with graphic design, presentation design and sales materials. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set and be comfortable working across a wide variety of design-related projects. The fellow will be responsible for interpreting FUSION's style guide into materials that feel consistent with our visual language. Therefore, a critical competency for the fellow should be an understanding of how to translate good ideas into visuals. This person will also have the opportunity to support the broader FUSION Business Development team among a variety of social media, sales development, advertising, market research, and analytics projects.   • Job Requirements: What Will You Do Here? Design and create images and mockups for sales pitches and advertising projects Develop an original look and feel for all team materials that still represents the FUSION Brand Create pitch decks, partnership proposals, and Keynote and/or Powerpoint templates Work as a first point-of-contact for all Business Development design requests Provide quality assurance for all visual elements that come out of the department Lend general design support to a broad, cross-functional team Experience (or knowledge of) the advertising world, particularly branded content, native advertising, and content marketing Experience working with a digital media publisher, ad agency, brand marketing team, or sales development team Experience creating infographics, animated explainers, or interactive projects Knowledge of video editing, motion design, and/or animation Experience working in excel, with analytics, or reporting projects What Will You Bring to the Table? A killer portfolio showing off your design chops Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Applications Proficiency in Keynote and/or Powerpoint Excellent grasp of design principles including composition, color, and typography Basic familiarity with mobile platforms such as Instagram, Snapchat and Vine Prior academic and/or internship experience producing graphics and visual materials Fast learner and problem solver with the ability to “think outside the box” Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability and willingness to project manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced start-up environment Interest in the business side of the media world Current college student or recent grad located in New York City or willing to relocate Candidate must be authorized to work in the US The position is paid, either full-time or part-time, reporting to VP of Operations Position is available from January 2016 through May 2016.
