  • About Our Company: Why National Geographic? Because we believe in the power of science, exploration and storytelling to change the world. That’s no empty mission statement. We’re implanting tracking devices in fake ivory tusks to map smuggling routes across Africa. Paul Salopek is tracing humanity’s footsteps from Ethiopia to the southern tip of South America to illuminate some of the most important narratives of our time. This past November, we dedicated our entire issue to finding solutions to climate change. And Joel Sartore is on a mission to photograph every species in captivity on the planet. We believe in ambitious stories and the people that tell them.
