    The Village Voice is looking for a Photography Director who is a strong leader and is excited at the prospect of building a team and exploring new platforms. We are looking for a highly collaborative individual who enjoys new challenges. You will: Build and manage a team of photo editors for multiple platforms Pitch and produce top-quality photo shoots, including fashion and photo-journalism Oversee the budget for research and original photography Work in conjunction with the edit and art teams to make a great editorial product Hire photographers to help bring a fresh voice to the ever-evolving brand
