    Ink Publishing Corporation - Miami, FL 33134 American Airlines, the world's largest airline, has a new exciting opportunity for a talented photo editor, working on American Way, Celebrated Living and Nexos. This would be a full-time position working on-site in our Coral Gables, Miami office. These magazines have an incredible reach; being read by up to 16 million passengers a month. At Ink we aim to produce magazines with a difference, so it's vital that the candidate is a creative self-starter, confident in multitasking all parts of the job, both in print and digital. They must be organized and happy to work as part of a small team. The ideal candidate must be passionate about all aspects of photo editing and be able to champion one of the world's biggest brands. We are a global company and communicating and working positively with the head office in London is a vital part of the role. The Role - The Photo Director's responsibilities will include idea collaboration, planning, and executing the magazine's photography. You will be responsible for directing, producing, and procuring all images in the magazine including front-of-book sections, features, and covers. You must adhere to the deadlines and budget set for the title and ensure that the work is of the highest standard. You should have an understanding of the brand and work to its style.

  • Job Requirements: At least 4 years photo directing, editing, and producing experience (magazine or publishing preferred) - Highly organized and has a flexible, open approach to work and collaboration - Communicative, with a clear approach to keeping editors and art directors updated on the status of photos - Experience working with a wide range of photo agencies and other image resources - Detail-oriented in relation to getting all pertinent information for captions and credits - Strong organizational and time management skills.
