Country Living Magazine seeks an intern for their photo department. This person will work closely with the photo and art departments to gain vital magazine experience working in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment. The position is for college credit only. The intern is expected to begin by mid September and work through mid December. The days and hours are negotiable.

Senior Photo Producer

Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia is in search of a Senior Photo Producer to work on primarily one of its magazines. Under the guidance of the Photography Director, the Senior Photo Producer is responsible for maintaining a consistent photographic identity for the publication as well as scheduling and producing photography shoots and updating the photography calendars. Responsibilities: ·Oversee the production and scheduling of all photography stories in collaboration with the Deputy Photo Editor, art department and story teams ·Help maintain monthly photo shoot calendars for publishing ·Create and manage budgets ·Manage the invoicing processes and procedures, including approvals, coding and resolving discrepancies between photographers, vendors and accounting ·Hire photographers for stories, obtains estimates; assure that final invoices match estimate, work with junior photo editors to ensure invoices are coded, tracked, processed correctly for above publishing businesses · Hire illustrators for stories. Negotiate rates appropriate for budget and ensure art is received in a timely fashion · Book travel for location shoots · Hire models and hair/make-up stylists, and scout locations as necessary for publishing. Track and maintain model and location releases, and provide certificates of insurance when necessary for all publishing stories. Obtain stylist contracts for hair/make-up stylists as necessary Work with Studio Manager daily to allocate studio space in all in house shoots. In the event that in-house studios are all occupied, research outside studio locations and make necessary bookings/confirmations. We are looking for someone organized, dedicated and excited to learn how a photo department at a weekly magazine operates. Interns should be very comfortable and effective communicating over the phone, in person, and via e-mail. Photography, art communications majors or an interest in photography and editing preferred. Experience researching images with stock agencies a plus but not required. Interns should have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently, as well as take directions and work as part of a team quickly and efficiently. Responsibilities include photo researching, maintaining photo archives, some general administrative duties, scouting, assisting on photo shoots, assisting in our photographers studio and maintaining the props closet, calling in products, logging-in and returning artwork, being a contributing member during creative meetings, and possibly undertake some photography assignments if skills permit.

photo touchups-full time work from home

Job Description: I am looking for someone to do some photo touchup work. i have around 2600 images of our product line that needs to be touched up, croped, and made sure the item is on a white backround. I basically would like to hire someone right away as i need this job to be started. This can be a one time gig but we do create around 300-500 new items every season. Around 2000 items per year, so this is ajob that someone can do a couple hours each night. WE ARE WILLING TO PAY BASED ON QUALITY OF WORK! Can you let me know a price if you are intrested, based on 100 images at a time. i will give you 2-4 images to try out, to see whats intailed and whats requested and so i can see what you can do as well. Every image will basically need the same touchup work. WE ALSO HAVE A PART TIME OPENING, WORK FROM HOME ON CONTRACT WORK. Thanks mike
