Web/Print Designer

Animoto is looking for a jaw-droppingly awesome designer to join our marketing team and lead the design efforts on everything from promotional online web pages to print advertising campaigns. We're well-funded (VC round in June 2009) but we're still small, so it's a great time to come on board as we grow like crazy in 2011. You'll be our first full-time designer on our fast-growing marketing team. Your plate will be full. You'll help shape the design direction of our various marketing efforts and ensure that everything produced is both pixel-perfect and cohesively represents the Animoto brand. In addition, you'll working on various website pages that will be seen by millions of people each month. You'll have to internalize our brand, then contribute to the critical decisions that decide where it goes. But here's the catch: we need the best. We've won every sort of award, from the Webbys to SXSW to the Crunchies (Best Design this year!), and we've been covered by all sorts of media, NY Times and USA Today and TechCrunch among others. Your work will uphold our reputation while pushing Animoto's design forward into the coming decade. This is a full-time position at our headquarters in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, NYC. To understand our culture, we're progressive and push the limits, and we have a great, young, vibrant office where we love to come and work hard. Except when we're drinking beers and playing Rockband in our lounge on Friday afternoons.
