The Art Assistant is responsible for daily production and trafficking of layouts, Attaching and styling text, Updating the editorial wall layout,. Designing FOB and BOB pages pages for every issue, Working with the photo department and digital imaging staff to ensure all artwork is high resolution, Responding to Food Network and Hearst's requests for all required content Managing the layout archive, Meeting with editors and photo dept to manage monthly photo requests and distribute to appropriate art staff. Strong designer and detail oriented. Ability to milti-task. Previous internship in an editorial art department of a magazine desired. Graphic design degree.
