RUNNER'S WORLD is seeking an energetic Photo Department Assistant for their Emmaus, PA office. Interested candidates should have a strong interest in photography, excellent computer skills and a knowledge of Photoshop and Excel. A BFA in Photography or Design is preferred.

Responsibilities include:
-Organizing and logging images
-Calling in and sending out gear for photo shoots
-Photo research using stock agencies, photographer archives, and pr contacts
-Ordering final art for layout
-Scanning and uploading images to server for placement into layouts
Various administrative duties

Ideal candidate will possess:
-Excellent organizational skills with keen eye for detail
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Prior experience working in an art department in a magazine environment
-Ability to work under deadline on multiple tasks
-Self motivation and ability to work independently while working as part of a team
-Should be able to work fluidly with photo, art, editorial and production staff
-Ability to take direction and to learn systems quickly and adeptly.
