The Associate Art Director, Graphic Design is responsible for managing and designing seasonal key merchandising and business initiatives from conception to completion. Inclusive of designing new innovative layouts, type styles and grid formats for each project assigned. Manages and develops direct reports focusing on design, concept development, accuracy and communication. This position is full-time, with full benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with Art Director, Graphic Design to plan a strategy for assigned projects
Designs and oversees layouts for all projects assigned
Designs and oversees all Marketing-related projects on a seasonal basis from initial concept to final production
Partners with cross-functional team members from copy, web and photography to ensure seasonal alignment
Presents concepts and designs to EVP, Creative Services, VP, Graphic Design and other cross-functional groups
Lead, coach and develop direct reports in design, communication and presentation skills
Attends all meetings of assigned projects
Maintains consistency and accuracy throughout the creative process
Ensures all deadlines are met
Has the ability to make decisions and stand by them

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A minimum Bachelor of Fine Arts degree required
A minimum of five years of graphic design and graphic production experience
