DIGITAL+PRINT MARKETING SR. DESIGNER, Condé Nast

We are seeking a designer who can seamlessly transition between print and digital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ideating concepts and creating designs in a collaborative marketing environment. He/she must possess a sophisticated design and typographic aesthetic, keen understanding of digital, print, and experiential design. Must have a good eye to source illustrators and photographers. A plus: an interest in topics relating to the men's space (GQ, Golf Digest, WIRED, Pitchfork, Ars Technica, Backchannel). Key attributes: - Be a strong conceptual thinker - Have exceptional type and layout skills - Have excellent knowledge of Adobe CC, Keynote - Be extremely organized, able to prioritize and multi-task - Be a positive and collaborative team member and potential leader/thinker - Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment - Proficient and/or a working knowledge of digital platforms (various CMS, WordPress, HTML, etc.)

The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of experience in the professional world in design. Projects include designing branding, marketing, and event collateral, as well as digital, web, and print units and mocks. Should have good production/trimming skills as well. The designer should be able to take ideas from concept to execution and collaborate well with a team. This position is in an extremely fast-paced environment where prioritization, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Must have a positive "can do" attitude and be willing to wear a lot of hats. A portfolio with a great eye for typography is a must!

Senior Designer

WIRED is looking for a senior designer to join our team on the advertising side (NOT editorial), as a full-time freelancer with potential for something more long term. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in the professional world. Projects include designing branding, marketing, and event collateral, as well as online, tablet, and in book units. The designer should be able to take ideas from concept to execution and collaborate well with a team. This position is in an extremely fast-paced environment where prioritization, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Must have a positive "can do" attitude and be willing to wear a lot of hats. Expert knowledge of CS6 InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Keynote, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Adobe DPS and WordPress is a plus. A portfolio with a good eye for typography is a must!
