TEMPORARY SENIOR DESIGNER

Cooking Light is seeking a temporary Senior Designer to fill in for our current Senior Designer who will be out on maternity leave (mid-July to mid-October). He or she will work on all sections of the magazine from the feature well to the department pages and will also be tasked with reviewing and approving color for main magazine and special editions. The Senior Designer will be expected to design pages in a fast-paced environment under firm deadlines. He/she will also art direct photo shoots on set and approve images for their assigned stories. He/she must work closely with the editors to create a layout that fulfills the editorial requirements, fits the look and feel of the magazine and fulfills the Creative Director¹s instructions.
