Art Director / Department Manager

Ability to work well under deadline pressure. This means managing the potential heavy workflow of the art & production department on a daily basis to ensure quality, accurate and timely output. Acts as chief ad designer. Able to balance quality with speed and volume of work. Graphic Designer (Editorial/Print)

IndexUniverse, an international financial media company, is looking for a talented Graphic Designer (Editorial/Print) to join our team in San Francisco's, Financial District. You will be joining a small design team consisting of the Art Director/Design Manager in San Francisco, a Jr. Designer in Equator, and a Print Designer in Germany. One of your main focuses will be magazine & newsletter redesign, design and layout. You will be working directly with the Managing Editor on a monthly publication, and will be responsible for its design production including: concepting, design execution, and final production. In addition, you will participate in the design and layout of a variety of print work including: media kits, advertising, corporate collateral, conference materials (we have at least 6 scheduled for this year), white papers and other projects as they arise. We are a small team, and you must enjoy jumping in on a variety of projects as needed.
