The part-time Senior Designer assists the Art Director and Creative Director in the development of design and UX experience for the data journalism site, FiveThirtyEight. The Senior Designer will work with the creative team to produce visual companion to editorial narrative of the site, which may consist of illustration, design, video and photographic opportunities. The designer will also participate in the product development of the site, producing wireframes and prototypes to inform front-end style guides that improve the UX experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms. As a design intern you'll work directly with our creative director and help our small but energetic staff create a different magazine every two weeks.
