Student Design Competition: Thanks to Our Judges!
Judging for our 2013 Student Design Competition took place Friday, March 8. Our awesome judges took their time looking over all your entries and finally managed to pick our winners. Thanks to all who entered for giving us such great work to choose from! We'll start announcing the winners here in the next few days, but for now, click thru for a sneak peek at judging day...
The 2013 Student Competition Judging took place on Friday, March 8, 2013. All the entries are laid out on tables in multiple rounds for each category.
The first round of judging takes place silently as each judge closely examines every entry and assigns it a score. Those scores then lead to the next rounds of judging where discussion amongst the judges takes place to figure out the top winners.
Lauren Heffron (center) lays out some entries for judges Matthew Axe, Luke Hayman, Adam Bookbinder and Arem Duplesis.
A huge thanks to this year's judges: Gina Maniscalco of Details, Matthew Axe of Martha Stewart Living, Arem Duplesis of the New York Times Magazine, Luke Hayman of Pentagram and Adam Bookbinder of Departures.
Be sure to check back here in the next few days for the top 3 winners! We'll then be posting more of your great entries in the weeks to come.
