Pub Crawl Wrap-Up

Our Pub(lications) Crawl event last Friday was a huge success, touring the offices of Parents, Money, Maxim, Time, Billboard and the brand-new HGTV Magazine. Our Pub Crawl students got their own first-hand peek at the premiere issue and how it came together, but if you weren't able to join us, you can get your own mini-Pub Crawl thru HGTV Magazine's very own documentary showing on the HGTV Channel on October 7 at 9pm. Space is starting to fill up for our Pub(lications) Crawl event on Friday, September 30, where you get personalized tours at the offices of 6 top magazines. TIME, Maxim, Parents, Money, Billboard and even the yet-to-be-published HGTV magazine are all ready and waiting to give you a sneak peek into how they work and how their publications come together. Even if you're not in the NYC area, this is one event that is worth a trip.

You'll be in small tour groups and will be able to ask your tour guides all the questions you want, so hurry up and ask your professors for permission to miss Friday classes. Sign up asap since tours are given on a first-come, first-serve basis (you'll get confirmation of which tour you get a few days before the event). All the details here.

The 2011 PUB(lications) CRAWL: It's On.

Our Pub(lications) Crawl is a day-long event where you'll get to tour the offices of two fantastic magazines for an in-depth look at the way things really work. This year we're visiting Billboard, HGTV Magazine (a startup!), Maxim, Money, Parents and TIME magazines -- all ready to give you behind-the-scenes access to the real workings of a major magazine.

This year, we specifically scheduled it for a Friday early in the semester when you can (we hope!) coax your professor into excusing your absence, or bringing your whole class along too! Come armed with your curiosity and questions, and prepare yourself for a very unique tour of great magazine-making. Space is very limited, so RSVP to reserve your spot after the jump...

Pub Crawl Details

Registration is now closed for our Pub(lications) Crawl, but if you're one of the lucky ones attending, you should have received an email from us this week with all the nitty-gritty details about when and where. If not, email us to let us know.

The registration deadline for our Pub(lications) Crawl event is 11:30pm Monday, so sign up now! Tour B is full, but Tour A and Tour C still have room, though they're filling up fast. We're only doing one Pub Crawl this year (as opposed to previous years where we did it once in the fall and once in the spring), so don't miss out on this awesome opportunity to get behind-the-scenes access.
