Save the Date:

Next Pub Crawl is 9/30

We're still in summer-mode (can you tell by our not-so-active posting lately?), but things here at SPD-Student Headquarters are starting to kick into high gear. We'll be posting the first of THREE galleries of top designs from our Show and Tell Juried Show tomorrow, but for today? Mark your calendars for an all-time favorite event...

This year's one and only Pub(lications) Crawl will be happening Friday, September 30 here in NYC. It typically starts at 9:30am and goes through about 4pm. We'll be posting all the details and the participating magazines by the end of the month, but in the meantime, save the date.

And if you're within a train, bus or car ride's distance of us, we highly suggest you consider making the trip ... it's a truly rare opportunity to get a first-hand look at the art and design departments at some top-notch magazines.

Need some convincing? Check out a past attendee's feelings on the event after the jump:

If you want to know it, then we want to answer it! Send us your questions and we'll answer them either in our Vocab Lesson series or in another future post. Email us at spdstudentoutreach@gmail.com.
