From Film to Flour and Back Again with Norman Jean Roy

  • Village East by Angelika 181-189 2nd Avenue New York, NY 10003 (map)

Join SPD on Tuesday, May 7th for our in-person speaker event: From Film to Flour and Back Again with Norman Jean Roy, moderated by Editor/Writer Holly Hughes.

Legendary photographer Norman Jean Roy spent decades creating some of the most iconic portraiture of our time. After 30 years in the industry, Norman put down his camera, moved upstate and began his second act, baking. He quickly went from amateur to professional creating award winning breads and pastries with a storefront that consistently had a line out the door. Like his photography, his culinary treats were extraordinary. After tremendous success, Norman shut the shop's doors for the final time and has returned to his original passion of photography. Rejuvenated and inspired, Norman Jean Roy is back on the call sheet.
