Job Description: Domino is seeking a designer to join a growing team of editors, designers, stylists and strategists to develop, create, and optimize dynamic and interactive digital content across all of Domino’s channels. This candidate should have a strong digital background in design, art direction, typography and creative ideation. Reporting to the Design Director, this individual will work in a fast- paced environment across both editorial and branded content.

Job Requirements:
The Responsibilities:

  • Consistently execute strong design with the Domino reader in mind.

  • Design iteratively, with a grasp of typography, composition, messaging hierarchy, and balance.

  • Collaborate with editorial, creative studio, client services, and sales teams to help ideate and produce digital content.

  • Conceptualize, design, and execute visual content for Domino editorial and social as well as collateral materials for marketing, sales, and events teams. Ex: social graphics, display ads, podcast assets, event graphics, presale mocks, and presale presentations (google slides).

  • Source, lightly edit, and crop imagery.

  • Help maintain and develop Domino’s brand identity by optimizing materials, including templates and style guides, and work with Creative and Design Directors on developing the look, feel and tone of the Domino brand.

The Qualifications:

  • Proven project management skills with ability to prioritize, organize their own time, and consistently meet internal and external deadlines

  • A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on design experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field

  • Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

  • Ability to design independently and to efficiently incorporate feedback

  • Awareness of current design trends in web, mobile and social

  • Familiarity of G Suite, Dropbox, and WordPress

  • Ceros, Sketch, HTML and CSS experience a plus, but not required.

  • Experience with motion, aftereffects, and video a plus, but not required

Job Description:

I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
Design of front of book and editorial features for Allrecipes print magazine. This includes photography planning and art direction, designing layouts, hiring illustration, and general production of Allrecipes Magazine. This position also will design and produce MPP magazines under the Allrecipes brand as directed by the Meredith Premium Publishing Executive Creative Director and Allrecipes Design Director. II. Essential Job Functions

  • 70% - Design and coordinate all visual elements, including photography, for assigned MPP products or Allrecipes magazine. Work with the editorial departments in developing visual concepts and story ideas for assigned stories or sections.

  • 30% - Monitor workflow procedures including tracking documents, design budgets, and freelance invoices. Assist the Allrecipes Design Director and MPP Executive Creative Director in day-to-day supervision of assigned MPP titles.
