Nicole Argento, Visual Storyteller, Creative Director, and Designer

About: Nicole is a multidisciplinary storyteller and conscious creative, combining mediums in design, photography, art, and edit for print, digital, and social content.

As a full spectrum creative, she brings thought, relevance and forward-thinking to create new paradigms and conversations within beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and wellness; inclusivity, body positivity, strength, and self love are among some of the topics that Nicole is passionate about. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design, from the respected Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Upon graduation, she moved to New York City and launched her career as a graphic designer, working under the tutelage of some of the magazine world’s most esteemed creative directors at publications such as YM, Cosmopolitan, and Glamour. Nicole’s discerning creative eye fueled her meteoric rise in the competitive 90s magazine industry, resulting in her becoming the Art Director of Glamour while still in her early twenties.

A six year tenure at Allure allowed the space for Nicole to create content and design across all platforms. For the past year she held the title of Design Director under Anna Wintour and Raul Martinez of Vogue, and previously Marie Suter now the Creative Director of Glossier. During this time, she was appointed the Q4 Business Accelerator Award. Those awarded with this honor have changed the trajectory of the business, driving exceptional results in print, digital, brand development and/or overall business performance.

Nicole works intuitively to pinpoint the most essential, visceral quality with which to tell a brand’s story and concepts this from start to finish, including the design. She has a strong presence on various social media platforms. Her Instagram feed @warriorheart, has nearly 7000 followers, including numerous well-known creative directors, photographers, artists, brands and cutting-edge global tastemakers.
