Job Description: Metaleap Creative’s branding team (based in Atlanta, GA) is seeking a designer with 3-5 years of experience who is efficient, disciplined, outgoing, and extremely collaborative. Ideal candidates will have a passion and curiosity for all things design—especially print. From logos and identity design to packaging, environmental graphics, and other marketing collateral. Proficiency in web and motion graphics is not necessary but would be a plus. They will be humble, teachable, conceptual thinkers with a sophisticated design sense, and a great eye for detail. This position will primarily be on Metaleap’s branding team but may include publication projects from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • Learn — Soak up working in a fast-paced design firm and expand your skills into new areas.

  • Design — Provide strong design solutions that solve problems for brand clients. Complete assigned projects and tasks according to established timelines and budgets. Translate client needs and strategies into design strategies and ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.

  • Collaborate — Work with art directors, branding experts, front end developers and other professionals to create cohesive brand stories and execute strategies to take them to market.

  • BFA or BA Degree — A Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in graphic design, including coursework in both typography and page layout

  • Flexibility — Understand clients’ needs and adapt when necessary while maintaining our high standards of design

  • Organization — Create and maintain clean files throughout the entire production cycle, take detailed notes and meet all deadlines

  • Software knowledge — InDesign proficiency is required, including knowledge of keyboard shortcuts, and a solid grasp of Photoshop and Illustrator; Sketch, Figma or XD and After Effects a plus

Job Description: POLITICO is looking for a curious and ambitious Director of Photography to lead our newsroom to tell rich, photo-driven stories. The right fit for this role has a passion for storytelling and showing the impact of policy on our everyday lives. The Director of Photography will sharpen POLITICO'S approach to photojournalism on everything from daily assignments to elections, and from magazine profiles to long-term investigations.
