3 things you can’t live without: My lip gloss. Coffee in the morning. I literally can’t see without my glasses.

What’s your superpower? Making the people around me feel seen; through storytelling and worldbuilding.

What do you listen to while creating? Jazz, lounge, or classical when I’m working on layouts. Tempo, house, or something bumpy when I need to really get things done. I also like to play a movie or a TV show in the background at times.

Favorite TV show: Schitt's Creek. It’s so dramatic, chic, and hilarious. I also love Korean dramas and comedies with similar flair.

What (or who) inspires you? Playful typography and fantastical imagery. The people who shaped how I see are: André Leon Talley. Maya Angelou. Gordon Parks. Lillian Bassman. Toni Morrison. Alexey Brodovitch. Marsha P. Johnson. Diane Arbus. And Disney’s Fantasia is forever — my earliest inspiration.

Advice for young creatives? I’ve created my best work when I felt like I was playing; like a kid on the playground. Most of us got into this work because it ignites us. Remember to let yourself have fun.

What’s on your bucket list for the next year? Release the next issue of DONE The Magazine. Solo travel. Learning to invest.

What do you listen to while creating? Lots of podcasts and rock, hip-hop, jazz and soul music.

Favorite TV show: Frasier, hands-down.

What (or who) inspires you: Being in beautifully designed spaces (homes, hotels, stores), fashion, people who live with a spirit of ease and confidence, and being in awe of nature.

Advice for Young creatives: Try, experiment, and pivot over and over with as many things as possible, big and small. Don’t be afraid to be seen trying something new or different or to be seen learning through it. Everything is a work in progress.

What’s on your bucket list for next year? Hosting international retreats where I get to travel and explore design and make art with creatives in other places.

Favorite TV show: Just finished Breaking Bad, that was goood!

What (or who) inspires you? This quote from Aileen Gu: "You can control what you think. You can control how you think. And therefore, you can control who you are”

Advice for young creatives? I've been telling creatives to take negotiation classes and collaborate! Find your a-team, work with people who inspire you; making mistakes is inevitable, and how you work through those is the real artistry!

What’s on your bucket list for the next year? Fresh Mercado's field guide and merch

My superpower: My friendship and loyalty, always showing up for my friends and family.

What do you listen to while creating? Oddly I like silence when I create, but if I had to pick it would be Brandi Carlile.

Favorite TV show: I'm generally not a repeat show watcher, but the two shows I have rewatched several times are Ted Lasso and Schitt's Creek. Just such smart writing and genuine.

What (or who) inspires you? Travel. Learning and experiencing other cultures and places, sitting at a coffee shop, walking the streets, walking through museums and people watching fills up my brain.

Advice for young creatives: Be genuine. Don't try to be someone else and find something that makes you unique, but be honest.

What's on your bucket list for the next year? Do something that scares me, see more parts of the world, and do some house projects.
