Job Description: We’re looking for someone special to join our design team. You will bring life to print, digital, and live stories through motion graphics, video-editing, and collaborations with artists, photographers, musicians, and filmmakers. This position is based in San Francisco and will report directly to the Creative Director.
You should view yourself as a problem solver. You need context to be effective with your solutions. For you, design is more than pretty pictures — clarity, purpose, and meaning are important. You understand who the audience is and what is appropriate. You take feedback as a process and a means to build something even better. There is purpose in every design decision. You have a strong foundation of design principles and possess sophisticated typographic sensibilities. Beauty is never the goal, but is always part of the solution.
If you like to challenge the expected, appreciate the beauty of design that’s invisible, have an eagerness to learn in a collaborative environment, have a point of view, and respect other points of view, we want to talk to you.
Job Requirements: Applicants should have 1-5 years of editorial and/or brand experience with a passion for the creative potential of live, digital, and print media.
